The K3 International 14 Project is the development of a new I14 design from the desk of Steve Killing and Object 2. The design attempts to address three main objectives:
- Improved Performance - incremental, low-risk improvements to the hull shape that will foster more aggressive development of foils, rig and sails;
- Simple & Versatile Deck Layout - clean and simple out of the box, with flexibility for customization by the owner;
- Simplified Construction - reduce the labour (and cost!) and improve the precision and repeatability of construction and assembly;
The project is managed by Chris Leigh and Jason Lemieux with Wire 2 Wire and built by Rossi Milev and Chris Ball from Clear Air in partnership with CST Composites, Alexander Sails, Fogh Marine, CNC Pattern Technologies and ATC polymers.
